Find a Coach

If you're looking for a coach, you're in the right place!

MASTERY COACH EXCHANGE is the only online networking site specifically designed to bring people, like you, who are searching for a coach, together with professional coaches, so you can interact in a safe, natural, unpressured environment. Coaching can help you successfully navigate transitions of all kinds, achieve far more and grow as a human being. It's smart for you to work with a coach and it's easy to find the best coach for you right here and we have some tips for you to follow that make it easy:

1. Use the "search box" in the upper right corner of this page to search for a coach with the qualifications you require. Just type in the appropriate keywords, like "life coach" or "business coach" and a list of coaches who fit your criteria will appear. Click on their names to visit their profiles, find out more about them and get their contact info.

2. Visit the "Find a Coach" group for coaches who are currently looking for clients. Scroll down and look on the right side of the page for groups and click on the link to find a coach quickly.

So you can communicate with potential coaches. It only takes a moment and it's free. You don't have to include your contact information. As soon as you're membership is approved you're in. Read the Privacy policy on the sign-up page. Don't include your email address unless you want to get SPAM (You probably don't!) Please note that "Julia Stewart Coaching & Training LLC" does not warrant or guarantee the coaches on this site, because membership is open to all coaches, so use common sense when hiring a coach. For instance, most coaches have very good ethics, but we recommend that you get a written agreement before sending payment.

4. It's a good idea to ask for complimentary coaching sessions from at least three coaches before you hire one.
When you find a coach you like here, just ask for a complimentary coaching session. They are usually 30 minutes long.

5. How do you know which coaches to audition?
Read their blogs and discussion posts. Ask questions in the discussions. Sign up for their events. Watch their videos, etc. You can get a good idea about who a coach is from their active participation on this site. Get to know them.

6. Should you look for coach training and certification?
That's a good idea, because it demonstrates a commitment to quality and professionalism. Hire a coach who is at least in the process of getting trained. A certification from a recognized school or independent certifier, like the IAC, is even better.

7. Should your coach be a member of a professional coaching organization?
Yes, membership in an organization with a code of ethics, again says something about your coach's commitment to ethics, clients and the profession. Read the IAC's Code of Ethics here.

8. How much should you pay your coach?
Fees vary quite a bit from coach to coach, but most professional coaches charge between $300 - 600 USD per month and require a working commitment of at least 3 months, although elite coaches sometimes charge more. Newer coaches tend to charge less, because they are still learning, so you can always find a coach here that you can afford.

9. What if your coaching relationship doesn't work out?
Tell your coach as soon as you have a concern. In most cases, the two of you will be able to work it out. If not, some coaches will refund the first month's coaching fee (check your written agreement). You can always return to this site and find another coach.

10. Don't SPAM.
SPAMers are banned without explanation as soon as we discover them. The same with any members who behave inappropriately. Also, do not ask for money or pay money to anyone via this site. This is to avoid scammers. We retain the right to remove anyone who doesn't play nice. That's it! Go out and engage in transformative conversations and live the great life you were born to have!
