It's true - we don't mind digging deep for what really matters. It's so easy to get caught up in chasing dollars, but I'm guessing what's important to each of us is close at hand if we just focus on it.

Most of the world is finding money for Haiti. We find money for what matters most.

The economy may be stabilizing but at the same time things have not really gotten better because people are still looking for jobs that don't exist anymore. What they really need to do is look at the skills they have and how they can translate them into a different job.

Jobs that existed 10 years ago don't exist today, jobs that exist today didn't exist 10 years ago, and there will be jobs in the future that haven't been invented yet. Companies to cut expenses on no longer hiring people to work from an office, what they're doing is purchasing the computers with software installed and telephones to supply to the independent contractors to work from home. This gives the individual tax breaks.

Hi, I can see the economy turning around from my own experience, although I can't speak for everyone.

I have some new coaching clients coming to see me after Christmas (in the week between Christmas and the New year) and in the New Year itself. This is something that has never happened before. I am sure the trend will continue and the economy will improve over 2010.

This forum has been neglected long enough! Let's look at some more good news:

Unemployment, though still very high, was down slightly from November to December. No one knows if the trend will continue, but it sure beats the incredible number of layoffs we were hearing about a year ago.

Banks are modifying loans now and more people have the option of staying in their homes. It's a shame anyone has to go through this, but modification is way better than foreclosure, in my book.

What do you think? Is the economy turning around? Do you see rays of sunshine behind the old recession clouds?

Brilliant Natalie ~ Things will never be the same and that's GOOD!

To wit from a Robert Kiyosaki event:

"Some people are waiting for the economy to come
back. I’m afraid these people will be left behind.
I say the economy is not coming back. I say the
economy has moved on."

Yup ~ It starts by acknowledging that the opportunities are there and then we start to find and capitalize upon them. Happy hunting!

Recession? I've never been busier. For those in business, this is the best time to improve everything about it: customer service, product offerings, policies, employee training, nurture marketing, innovation. This is an ideal time to focus on personal development and learn how to re-frame all to a solid positive position of strength and optimism.

Stay well,
Andrea
