Hi Rachel,
Lol! I love your comment... yeah, I guess you should do the laundry...lol!
The way I like to determine a should or a want is this:

I should do the laundry.
Hmmmm.... I need to step back, is that true?
Well, if I want clean clothes this week, I should do the laundry.
Do I want clean clothes?
Well... yes, but I guess I still have plenty of clean clothes.
So I don't have to do the laundry?
Nope.
Why should I?
Oh, because it is the neat and tidy thing to do and I feel like I won't have time later.
So the should comes from fear. Fear of being messy and fear of lack (time)
Yep
What would I LOVE to do right now?
Go outside and play in the snow!

At some point, the laundry will become a want... Like, I want clean clothes because it feels good to have them clean. Wants create positive movement, shoulds create resistance.
Now I know should relationships are a bit harder to let go of, than just doing the laundry...
It takes courage to live authentically. Sometimes, it is just through inquiry we find out a should is a want... that is when we shift our language to reflect reality and the resistance simply disappears.

I start classes in Jan again... You???

Yahoo Rachel!
Natalie sent out your interview. Fabulous and concise! Positive and edgy! I love that you didn't answer one question while sticking to your principals. You definitely are a leader extraordinaire...
You are so AWESOME!

Oops! I forgot we closed the website, except to subscribers, so here it is:

Allow your Greatness

When was the last time something wonderful happened in your life and you just knew it was because of your hard work, or your ideas. Did you celebrate your amazing self?

This week, pay attention to whether or not you allow yourself to feel great. Tell yourself, “I am awesome!" “I am a goddess!” and “I really do a great job at life (or you can fill in the blank)!”

Once you truly allow your greatness to shine, you free those around you to feel their greatness, too!

Smiles and Inspiration,
Rain
